The Baños Comares baths are located inside the Alhambra Palace in Granada, through the Patio de Lindaraja. Built under the command of Yusuf I, the Arabic baths of the Alhambra was a typical Arabic bath structure for the time. The Baños Comares baths in the Alhambra has three rooms. The first is the room of beds, that has been restored. It was a place of rest. On the upper floor singers and musicians would play relaxing melodies for those who waited. Next are the vapor rooms. The third room is that of the baths. There are two big baths of different size, one having hot water, and the other one cold. |
