The fourth palace is that of Comares, which was the official residence of the monarchy in Granada.

The Palacio de Comares (Comares Palace) is located inside the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. In it is the Patio de los Arrayanes, and massive entryways. It is situated to the north of the Sala de la Barca and the Sala de los Embajadores, that occupies the interior of the Torre de Comares, where one has a complete view of the Darro Valley.

Yusuf I wanted the decoration in his official residency to marvel his visitors, and this is why it was ordered to be built so exquisitely. Although he probably did not live to see the finished work, his son, Mohamed V left there diverse inscriptions in the art work.
