Only a few kilometers away, you will encounter the pretty white town of Salobreña, Spain. You will be able to appreciate its little white houses that climb like vines up its mountainous peak, with the sea lapping at its feet. This town on the Granada Coast is a real treat for the eyes.
Salobrena and the Coast of Granada enjoy an agreeable temperature all year long, but it is the springtime when its beaches begin to fill up. Some of these beaches are El Peñon, La Cagadilla, and La Guardia. Its historic city center is strewed with tiny, narrow streets that twist and turn upward towards the mountain peak. The castle of Salobreña of Phoenician origin, was reconstructed by the Romans and later by the Arabs.
