Granada is easily accessible from any part of Andalucia or Spain. There is an international airport (Chauchina de la Vega) just 17 kilometers outside the city. From here, there are regular flights to and from Madrid, Barcelona, Mallorca, Las Palmas and Tenerife. These act as stopover airports for international flights. Malaga airport is 130 kilometers from Granada. Here you can get direct flights to numerous international locations.
By train
From Granada train station, you can travel to all the important spots in Spain, either directly or with a change over. There are routes to all the major cities like Malaga, Madrid, Barcelona etc. The T17 route links Granada to Barcelona, passing through Linares-Baeza (Jaen), Albacete and Valencia. Regional trains go from Granada to Almería, Seville, Algeciras (Cádiz) and Linares-Baeza (Jaén).

By car
The main road in this region is the N-323. It links Granada to the north with Jaen, Bailén and Madrid, and to the South with Motril and the coast. The N-432 road goes to Cordoba and Badajoz. The A-92 links from east to west. You can take this road eastwards to Murcia and Almeria or westwards to Malaga and Seville.
